Triple Crown - Are Ready for the Horse Races?
Kentucky Derby - May 6, 2006 --- Louisville, KY
Preakness - May 20, 2006 --- Baltimore, MD
Belmont Stake - June 10, 2006 --- New York, NY
If you haven’t booked your room for the Kentucky Derby, boy are you in for some sticker shock. Still a small ray of hope for the Preakness. With the exception of the Mount Vernon Hotel for $144 per night. Downtown is now all over $350 a night. Mont Vernon is an extremely nice neighborhood that is within walking distance of the Inner Harbor, Charles Village, and of course Mount Vernon. Your other cheap choice is the Holiday Inn Select Baltimore North (Hunt Valley). This is outside the city, but right on the train line (8 minutes to Downtown for about $3.00 per person). Hit the bottom on my right hand side for great Hotel deals. Hopefully they can still set you up for $127 per night
