It has not ben good since i won the 5 game parlay. Could of, should have won on the Cubs. But I got greedy and gave up 1/2 for an extra $150 in profits.

Here is my pick for better or worse, not until I cash in some money will I go back to parlays.

Did a little hunting this morning.

Tested out the flower add I posted - Order some flowers that were received less than 12 hours later, been told they were nice.

Will be buying a security system from another of my ads and a muzzle loader from yet another.

I test all my sponsors and make sure they are in your best interest. Hope you consider buying what you need here. After all it will be a cold day in hell before I ever get a commission check from a sport books - WE ARE UP BIG ON THEM - AND YES THEY ALL PAY!!!! It's been a slow march down. Missing the parlays which is more or less expected with the occasional surprise and push after push on my bets.

Baltimore came through. Was diapointed withe the Raiders - pushed on the over.

Statistics can be the kiss of death.

EVERY GAMBLER KNOWS HAWAII HAS A BIG TIME HOME FIELD ADVANTAGE. You can bet on every gambler from Las Vegas knowing this. So if the fair spread were +8 what would they bet on? If the fair spread were plus 21, what would they bet on? If the spread were 145 what would they bet on?

Personally I don't think it makes a difference. Every "professional" gambler inside the El Cortez Sport books has their money on the statistic they know. BUT THE SPORTBOOK KNEW THEY WOULD.

Washington - The 16 1/2 under dog was always tied or lead during the first half. And what can I say Northern Illinios disappointed me. The frustrating part of Washington is their line became 17 1/2 after I wager at 16 1/2. would have won if I waited. That's a $2,200 swing!!!

Thinking of capturing the sign on bonus at a book? Good-luck. They won't cheat you, but the odds are in their favor. Many books require you to roll your money over 5 times. Deposit $100. Place $500 in bets, and then you get to keep $10 to $20. The rules can impair your betting strategy, which in turn can lead you to beating up yourself.


Deposit $100 into 16 books (You veterans are pushing your luck trying to find 16 new accounts from stable books)

You now have 16 $110 to $120 accounts.

Place the full balance on one game with each book wager on a different event.

Assuming the law of averages are on your side. You will have 8 books which you lost to and no longer have a thing to worry about. With your other 8 books you now have a balance of upto to $229 per book.

Does your book kick back loses once a month? Does book offer free bets on a regular basis? Does you book present enough betting option to where you can bet those odd events you have an edge on?

Bottom line is you need to win to collect. The book that gives you the greatest freedom to win may very well be better than the book that gives you $20.00

The number one search that is bringing gamblers to my blog is "parlays" and "parley" obvious some of you have questions on how they are calculate. In lame mans terms it is simply a series of bets. If the games are played one after the other you can accomplish the same results by letting your money ride onto the next game. The parlay will allow you to do this when all the games are played during the same time slot.

I just recently placed a 2 game parlay on a baseball game. The odds on the Diamond Backs to win were minus 142 and the under was minus 120. My $400 wager would return $1,249.77 or a 2.12 to 1 if it were possible to place to wager the money by letting the winnings ride. (On the multiple odd games like this don't worry about the order they are in on the spreadsheet, 2 times 3 is the same as 3 times 2).

Using the same wager on normal dime lines a two game parlay would pay $1,457.85 on a $400 wager, or 2.64 to 1.

The formual I have in the spread sheet for calulating the win column is:

+IF(D41<1,+ABS(C41/D41)*100,(D41/100)*C41)

with -
"D" being the Odds column
"ABS" stands for absolute (always positive, you can multiply by negative 1 for the same results).
"C" being the Bet column

Return of course is just your win plus your bet

Fair value is equal to

(Curent Return minus the first original Bet) divided by the first original Bet.

These calcualtions are for the fair value of a parlay based on the odds of the game. It is not necassarly what the book pays. Every book has it's own rules. Often the books are gernerious on the lower paying parlays and start getting nervious and cheap on the higher paying parlays.

If you can get by parlaying 5 games and letting the money ride on your 6th game. you might come out further ahead than parlaying all 6 tohgether at once. Of course the timing of the games will play a key roll in this. Another trick to get a higher pay off on a large number parlay, is to throw a money line or odds play into the mix among the normal lines with dime juice games. Some books will then revert back to the normal formual to calulate pay-off.

Nine wouldn't let me bet the run line parlayed with the same game over under. Most books won't (to increase my pay-off I wanted Arizona minus 1 1/2 +110). Many don't even let you parlay over unders with the same game money line. But Nine was kind enough to give me that oppertunity to take more of their money.

Because baseball is not your normal 10 cent juice (odds to win or lose) the parlays pay differently than what you normally see in football. Bet the under dog and they pay quit a bit more. Bet the favors and they pay less.
